Q. How much do I need?
A. First, we need an estimate of the area we're working to improve. How Long is it? How wide is it? Next what product are you considering.
For mulch we suggest 2 to 3 inch minimum application. For this you'll need 1 cubic yard to cover 100 square feet. A cubic yard is 3x3x3 cube or 27 cubic feet.
We also sell bagged products - most mulch is sold in 2 cubic feet bags. i.e. 13 1/2 bags constitute 1 cubic yard.
For top soil or fill dirt, these products are loaded and shipped by dump truck. When these are installed or compacted they will lose about 1/3 of their volume
For various products such as gravel, lava rock, sand, marble chips or crimson stone that are sold "by-the-ton" please consult our staff for volume conversions.
Most personal vehicles & trailers will safely transport a couple of yards of mulch and less than a ton of our aggregate products
Q. Can you get a special product for me?
A. Probably yes - ask! We purchase from several vendors with a wide range of products.
Q What forms of payment do you accept?
A. Cash, personal checks, credit cards ( MC, Visa, Discover). Credit applications are available if you wish to open an account with us.
